
The Enugu Tech Festival (ETF) 2025 pre-conference tour has kicked off in earnest, with recent visits to the Institute of Management Technology (IMT) and Enugu State College of Medicine. Led by Engr. Prince Lawrence Ezeh, the Enugu State Commissioner for Innovation, Science, and Technology, the tour aims to engage students and raise awareness about the festival.

Scheduled to take place from May 7th to 9th, 2025, ETF 2025 promises to showcase Enugu’s growing tech potentials and bring together industry leaders, innovators, and investors. The festival’s theme, “Coal to Code: Envisioning Enugu as West Africa’s Silicon Valley,” underscores the state’s commitment to harnessing technology for economic growth.


During the tour, Prof. Ogbodo of IMT expressed excitement about the festival, noting it would provide a platform for local talents to shine. At the Enugu State College of Medicine, administrators discussed the integration of technology into healthcare, expressing eagerness to contribute to the tech ecosystem.


The tour has generated significant interest among students, many of whom are eager to leverage technology to address real-world challenges. As ETF 2025 approaches, the team plans to visit more schools and engage stakeholders in building momentum for the event.
