
The Enugu State Government has announced the commencement of the process to resolve payroll verification issues for Local Government and State workers, as well as pensioners. This move comes after the recent verification exercise, which only included successfully verified individuals in the payroll. However, some complaints arose from the outcome, prompting the government to direct the Verification Committee to review these complaints.

To resolve these issues, affected persons are required to take the following steps:
- Required Documents: Bring all documents as required during the verification exercise, plus additional documents such as baptismal card, FSLC, WAEC, and any other relevant documents.
- Verification & Screening: The verification team will review all issues to ensure that only those with genuine cases are reinstated.
- Final Review & Vetting: Approved names will undergo internal review before final reintegration into the payroll.
The government has emphasized that the period to resolve issues is open from March 4th to 21st, 2025, at the office of the Local Government Service Commission.
