
Verbatim Magazine has announced the winners of its prestigious Star Awards, with Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, and Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umar Radda, emerging as recipients of the coveted honors. Notably, Hon. Prof. Paul Nnamchi, representing Enugu East/Isi-Uzo Federal Constituency, will also receive an award for his excellence and quality presentation in the 10th House of Representatives.

Both governors have accepted their nominations and will be formally honored at the annual leadership award and 13th-anniversary lecture scheduled to hold on April 3 in Abuja.
The Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) will receive the ‘Most Impactful Institution of the Year’ award. Other notable awardees include a Comptroller of Customs in Kaduna and the MD of FMC Makurdi.
The Verbatim Media Awards (VMA) aim to inspire and promote excellence in workplaces, recognizing personalities and institutions contributing to development and nation-building in Nigeria. The magazine’s Editor-in-Chief, Tobs Agbaegbu, emphasized that the media plays a crucial role in promoting excellence and nation-building.
The awards will be presented across 20 categories, including Personality/Man and Woman of the Year, Governor(s) and Minister(s) of the Year, Long Time Achievement Award, Outstanding Legislative Performance, Philanthropist(s) of the Year, and CEO and Bank of the Year.
The annual leadership award and 13th-anniversary lecture will feature a keynote address by Governor Dikko Umar Radda of Katsina State. A renowned scholar will also deliver the Verbatim leadership lecture.
