BARRISTER IFEANYI NWEKE TAKES HELM AS ENUGU SPORTS CLUB CHAIRMAN

Enugu Sports Club has inaugurated a new executive committee with Barrister Ifeanyi Nweke as its Chairman. The inauguration ceremony took place on an unspecified date.

In his acceptance speech, Barrister Nweke promised to work with the club’s constitution to ensure its development. He thanked members for electing him and other executives, assuring them that his administration would prioritize their welfare and work within the club’s constitution and policies.

Barrister Nweke commended his predecessor, Sir Victor Atuonwu, for his development projects and pledged to build on his legacy. He outlined his plans to reorganize the club’s security, invest in commercial ventures, and improve its health facilities.

Other members of the executive committee include Chief Vincent Okoye as Vice Chairman, Ozo Uche Onoh as General Secretary, and Nnene Ndukwo-Ogbuja as Assistant Secretary. Chief George Akwada will serve as Treasurer, while Chief Mcsylvester Duru and Barrister Chukwudi Achife will handle membership and media affairs, respectively.

Barrister Nweke took over from Sir Victor Atuonwu, whose remodelled clubhouse was commissioned by Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Mbah, last Saturday. The Governor was also invested as the President of the Club during the event.
