  • Abia State: Splitting the existing Bende LGA into two, creating Bende North and renaming the original LGA as Bende South, sponsored by Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu and six other lawmakers.
  • Delta State: Creating Ughievwen LGA, sponsored by Francis Waive, House Committee Chairman on Rules and Business.
  • Enugu State: Creating additional LGAs, jointly sponsored by Paul Nnamchi, Chimaobi Atu, and Nnolim Nnaji.
  • Imo State: Creating Ideato West LGA from the existing Ideato LGA, sponsored by Ikeagwuonu Ugochinyere.
  • Zamfara State: Creating Moriki LGA from the present Zurmi LGA, sponsored by Bello Shinkafi.

These bills must undergo further legislative scrutiny, voting by both chambers of the National Assembly, and approval by two-thirds of state legislatures before being transmitted to the President for assent.
