AWGU LG TAKES GIANT LEAP TOWARDS A CLEANER, HEALTHIER ENVIRONMENT: HON. UCHENNA OKOLO INAUGURATES WASTE MANAGEMENT TEAM

Uchenna Joseph Okolo, has officially inaugurated the Awgu Local Government Task Group on Sanitation. The task group, led by the indefatigable Mrs. Nwaeze Catherine, the Head of the Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Department in Awgu LGA, is poised to tackle the pressing challenges of waste management and sanitation in the area. With her wealth of experience and expert leadership, the committee is set to make a profound impact on the lives of residents, promoting a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environment for all.

During the inauguration ceremony, Hon. Okolo emphasized the critical role of the committee in ensuring that waste management in Awgu LGA meets the highest standards. “This department has a lot of work ahead, and we are committed to making it a success,” he stated, underscoring the administration’s unwavering dedication to improving sanitation infrastructure and public awareness.
