Engr. Pst. Beloved-Dan Obi Anike, the Executive Chairman of Enugu East Local Government Area (LGA), has inaugurated over 30 aides, including Hon. Nelson Okoh, as Special Adviser (SPA), Hon. Mark Onuoha, as Personal Assistant (PA), and Hon. Chukwunonso Eze, as Chief Protocol Officer. This move is in line with his administration’s commitment to inclusiveness and gender balance.
The Mayor, known for his love for excellence and inclusivity, recently announced the appointment of over 30 aides, onboarding more hands into his administration. He charged them to align with the vision of the local government and show commitment to their duty. “Protocols! Today, I have the opportunity to onboard you fully into the workforce and team of Enugu East LGA,” he said.
“Some of you have been working but not fully onboarded, and today you are fully onboarded. I believe that having more hands will enable us achieve more even in shorter period. As you already know, we are in a hurry to deliver on our mandate, we are not taking any day off, and I expect you to key in to what we are doing here,” he added.
The Mayor reiterated that inclusiveness is one of the administration’s cardinal objectives, ensuring every community has a representative. The SPA Agric Business & Farm Estates, Hon. Nelson Okoh, and other aides, including SA on Women Mobilization, Hon. Mrs. Agnes Nnaji, SA on Urban Affairs, Barr. Umeadi Nkwonta, and TA on Investment & Partnership, Prof. Moses Okonkwo, expressed gratitude to the Executive Chairman for the opportunity to serve.
