…Hails Governor Mbah’s Visionary Leadership

Uchenna Joseph Okolo, Chairman of Awgu Local Government Area, presented his team of Appointees to drive the council’s development agenda forward.
Addressing the gathering, Hon. Okolo commended Governor Mbah’s visionary leadership, stating, “We are committed to upholding the principles of people-powered democracy, as we believe that ‘power belongs to the people’.” This declaration was met with thunderous applause from the enthusiastic crowd, comprising party faithful, stakeholders, and community leaders.
The State PDP Chairman, Hon. Dr. Martin Chukwunweike, commended the party faithful for their steadfastness, encouraging them to “keep the fire burning.” He emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation in achieving the party’s goals.
Hon. Kenechukwu Okolo, Chairman of Awgu PDP, expressed gratitude to the party members for their unrelenting support, assuring the Enugu State PDP Chairman, Sir Dr. Martin Chukwunweike, that “Awgu is PDP and PDP is Awgu.” This affirmation underscored the chapter’s unshakeable loyalty to the party.
In his remarks, the Deputy Chairman of Awgu Local Government, Dr. Stanley Uchenna Ezediuto PhD., commended Governor Mbah’s leadership, saying, “We are grateful for the governor’s vision and commitment to the development of our state.” He also expressed his gratitude to Hon. Uchenna Okolo, Executive Chairman of Awgu LGA, for appointing over 20 vibrant youths to serve as advisory support to the government. “These young leaders are contributing to shaping a brighter future for the communities in Awgu LGA,” he added.
The meeting was attended by an array of dignitaries, including Dr. Martin Chukwunweike, Enugu State PDP Chairman; Hon. Anthony Nwankwo, member representing Awgu South in the Enugu State House of Assembly (Okwadike); Dr. Stanley Ezediuto, PhD (Deputy Mayor, Awgu LGA); Rt. Hon Nelson Uduji, Secretary of Awgu Local Government; and other prominent PDP executives at the state level. Notable among the attendees were Hon. Chief Uche Obute, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of PDP Enugu State; and Hon. Lawrence Okafor, PDP State Treasurer.
