The Executive Chairman of Awgu Local Government Area, Hon. Uchenna Joseph Okolo, has extended his heartfelt Good Friday wishes to the people of the council area, calling on them to reflect on the values of peace, love, and sacrifice.

It is a time for solemn reflection, gratitude, and a renewed commitment to the values of peace, love, and sacrifice in our own lives and within our communities.”
He further emphasized the importance of selfless service and looking out for one another, stating, “As we navigate the opportunities in our dear local government, May we be reminded of the power of selfless service and the importance of looking out for one another.”
Hon. Okolo prayed that the Good Friday celebration would deepen the faith and strengthen the bonds that hold the people together, saying, “May this day deepen our faith and strengthen the bonds that hold us together.”
In his Good Friday message, Hon. Okolo wished the people a peaceful and reflective Good Friday, adding, “On behalf of Awgu Local Government Council, I extend my heartfelt wishes for a peaceful and reflective Good Friday to each and every one of you.”
