The Majority Leader of Enugu State House of Assembly, Hon. Johnson Samuel Ani, has wished his constituents a glorious Easter season, urging them to embody the light of Christ and practice core Christian values.

In his Easter message, Hon. Ani stated, “My ever-loving constituents, as we are called to share in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, we should by every ramification, be the bearers of this light, LUMEN CHRISTI, which simply means, ‘the light of Christ.'”
He emphasized the importance of bearing one another’s pains and supporting those in need, saying, “Having gone through the forty days (40 days) prayer and fasting, we should by extension practice the core values & the real Christ-like behaviors, by bearing the pains of one another and giving our shoulders for those we are better off, to lean their heads, putting into cognizance that, sacrificing for the good of others, is the main message of today’s celebration.”
Hon. Ani expressed his appreciation for the steadfastness of his constituents, saying, “Ndi nke m, Ndi Enugu North, I wish to use this medium to further more, appreciate Ur steadfastness in believing in me, I pray and wish that, this team work should be encouraged.”
He quoted Helen Keller, saying, “Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.” Hon. Ani urged his constituents to work together for their common interest, saying, “May we never fight what does not exist, it won’t be for our common interest.”
In conclusion, Hon. Ani wished his constituents a glorious Easter season, saying, “I am wishing U all a glorious Easter season, as we will draw water from the well of salvation.”
