The Coalition of Registered Political Parties (CRPP), Enugu State Chapter, has commended Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s administration for its groundbreaking achievements in the education sector. In a press release signed by Chief Innocent Ezeoha, State Coordinator; Dr. Afam Ani, Chairman; and Barr. Ken Ikeh, Secretary, the CRPP highlighted the government’s commitment to revolutionizing education as the bedrock of socio-economic advancement.

This bold investment underscores a strong determination to build a sustainable, knowledge-driven economy.
A major highlight of the administration’s efforts is the launch of the ambitious Smart Schools Project, which entails the construction of 260 state-of-the-art Smart Schools — one in each electoral ward across the state. These schools are equipped with high-speed internet access, solar energy systems, robotics and artificial intelligence laboratories, modern science and technology labs, creative and arts studios, digital interactive classrooms, and Early Childhood Care Development and Education (ECCDE) sections.
At the tertiary education level, the Mbah administration has embarked on sweeping reforms. The Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) witnessed an impressive 97% accreditation of its academic programs, a clear testament to improved standards and administrative efficiency. Governor Mbah also initiated the establishment of a Centre for Experiential Learning at ESUT, aimed at bridging the traditional gap between academic knowledge and industrial practice. Additionally, a ₦50 million grant was provided to the institution to stimulate research, innovation, and entrepreneurship among students and faculty members.
The CRPP commends Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for demonstrating purposeful leadership, backed by vision and action, which has brought about meaningful transformation in the education sector. As the coalition continues its sector-by-sector assessment in the coming weeks, it remains committed to offering objective, constructive, and responsible feedback in the interest of strengthening democratic governance and fostering sustainable development in Enugu State.
