The newly inaugurated Executives of the Federation of Agbogugu Autonomous Communities (F.A.A.C.) paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Uchenna Joseph Okolo, the Executive Chairman of Awgu Local Government Council and a proud son of Agbogugu, at the Awgu Local Government Council Headquarters on May 19, 2025. This visit marked a significant moment for both the community and its leadership, as they came together to discuss ways to drive development and progress in Awgu LGA.

During the visit, the F.A.A.C. Executives, led by President General Hon. Elobuike Nwabuisi, commended the Council Chairman for his remarkable efforts in transforming the local government area. They were particularly impressed by the comprehensive remodeling of the secretariat, the construction of a modern office for the Chairman, and the installation of CCTV cameras for enhanced security.
“We are impressed by the strides you’ve made in such a short time,” Hon. Nwabuisi said. “Your dedication to improving our communities is evident, and we have every confidence in your ability to continue this positive trajectory for Awgu LGA.”
Hon. Uchenna Joseph Okolo expressed his gratitude for the visit, highlighting the importance of community support in governance. “I appreciate your support and assure you of my readiness to collaborate with you and other community-based organizations in our shared mission of rural development,” he said.
The Council Chairman outlined several ongoing and upcoming projects aimed at enhancing the quality of life in all communities within the local government. He emphasized the need for continued support and prayers from the community as he strives to change the narrative of local government administration.
The visit was attended by the President Generals of the four Autonomous Communities that comprise Agbogugu, reinforcing a sense of solidarity and collective purpose among the leaders. As the meeting concluded, the atmosphere was filled with optimism and a shared vision for a brighter future.
