In a resounding display of solidarity and support, Hon Uche Okolo, the Executive Chairman of Awgu Local Government Area, has rallied the community behind Governor Peter Mbah’s administration. The Awgu LGA boss attended a series of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) ward meetings across Awgu Ward 1, Awgu Ward 2, and Agbogugu, where he championed the governor’s visionary leadership and highlighted the administration’s achievements.

The gatherings, attended by notable party members including Hon Tony Nwankwo and Rt Hon Nelson Uduji, provided a platform for Hon Okolo to showcase the governor’s commitment to improving lives. He cited the Smart Green Schools initiative and expansive Farm Estates as testaments to the governor’s commitment to education and economic growth.
“The impressive growth in Enugu’s GDP is a direct result of the governor’s visionary leadership and strategic projects,” Hon Okolo said, highlighting initiatives like the Enugu Urban Renewal Project and Enugu Health Initiative.
Hon Okolo urged party faithful to maintain support for Governor Mbah, emphasizing the importance of their votes in the 2027 general elections. “We owe it to ourselves and our future generations to ensure the good work continues,” he declared. “Together, we’ll build a better Awgu and a more prosperous Enugu State.”
