The National Communications Team (NCT) and key media stakeholders on Thursday paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, marking Day 1 of their #HMINOTour and #NCTSouthEastTour.

The delegation said the visit was aimed at fostering stronger collaboration between the media and state governments to amplify national development initiatives, promote factual reportage, and enhance transparent governance across the South East.
Governor Mbah, while welcoming the delegation, commended their role in promoting national unity through responsible communication and media advocacy. He reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to openness, accountability, and partnerships that will accelerate socio-economic transformation in Enugu State.
He stressed the critical role of the media as a bridge between the government and the people, noting that his administration embraces inclusive governance and will continue to engage the media as partners in delivering the dividends of democracy.
The visit marked the start of the NCT’s strategic engagements in the South East, which will include interactions with stakeholders, government institutions, and community leaders aimed at strengthening information dissemination and national cohesion.
