In a significant step marking Deaf Awareness Week, the Enugu State Government, through the Enugu MSME & Startup Agency (Enugu SME Center), engaged with deaf entrepreneurs and nano-business owners. The initiative highlighted the administration’s dedication to fully integrating persons with disabilities (PWDs) into the State’s MSME and job-creation agenda.
This engagement emphasizes a clear policy stance: no group is left behind.

From skills development and enterprise support to access to opportunities, Enugu State is building an economy where every entrepreneur, including deaf and hard-of-hearing business owners, has the chance to participate, grow, and prosper.

Dr. Mbah’s vision remains steadfast: a productive economy that works for all, where inclusion is not merely symbolic but practical, measurable, and impactful.
