The Member representing Aninri/Awgu/Oji-River Federal Constituency, Hon. Engr. Anayo Onwuegbu, was on Friday among a cross-section of political leaders, traditional rulers, and stakeholders who converged on the Michael Okpara Square for the Grand Reception and Mega Endorsement Rally in honour of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah.

The event, organised by the Enugu State chapter of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, attracted a large turnout and served as a platform for a renewed expression of support for the administration of Governor Mbah and its ongoing policy direction in the state.
Hon. Onwuegbu’s presence at the rally placed him within the circle of key political actors who publicly aligned with the broad consensus of stakeholders backing the governor’s developmental agenda. The gathering also reflected an emphasis on continuity and consolidation of ongoing infrastructural and governance reforms in Enugu State.
Prominent personalities at the event included the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu; Chairman of the Enugu State Traditional Rulers Council, HRM Samuel Asadu; and the State APC Chairman, Martin Chukwunweike.
Others in attendance were the Deputy Governor of Enugu State, Ifeanyi Ossai; Secretary to the State Government, Chidiebere Onyia; Chief of Staff to the Governor, Victor Udeh; President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Azuka Mbata; and Senator Osita Ngwu, among other dignitaries.
The rally was marked by speeches and goodwill messages emphasizing unity, stability, and continued cooperation among stakeholders in advancing the state’s development priorities.
