
The Commissioner of Police in Enugu State, CP Mamman Bitrus Giwa, on Monday, April 27, 2026, conducted an inspection of facilities at the Police Detective College, Enugu, ahead of the written examination for applicants in the ongoing recruitment of 50,000 constables into the Nigeria Police Force.

The exercise is scheduled to commence on Tuesday, April 28, and run through Thursday, April 30, 2026, at the designated venue.

The visit comes on the heels of the successful completion of the physical and credentials screening stage of the recruitment exercise, which qualified candidates for the written examination phase.
CP Giwa emphasized the importance of maintaining transparency and orderliness throughout the process, reaffirming the command’s commitment to upholding standards in line with the directives of the Force Headquarters.

Applicants who successfully scale through the examination stage are expected to proceed to subsequent phases of the recruitment process.
