A new chapter of coordinated youth mobilization has commenced within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Enugu State following the appointment of Hon. Izuchukwu Philips Eze, popularly known as “Ochenwari,” as the Enugu State Coordinating Ward Youth Leader.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Ochenwari, who currently serves as the Youth Leader of Nachi Ward in Udi Local Government Area, was appointed by the state youth leadership to coordinate and harmonize the activities of all 260 APC Ward Youth Leaders across Enugu State.
The appointment is regarded as a strategic move aimed at strengthening grassroots mobilization and building a formidable youth structure capable of advancing the party’s ideals from the ward level to the state level.
Speaking on his appointment, Ochenwari expressed profound appreciation to the APC State Youth Leader, Hon. Comrade Basil Chukwudi Ojengwa, for the confidence reposed in him.
“I want to specially appreciate our workaholic and result-driven State Youth Leader, Hon. Comrade Basil Chukwudi Ojengwa, for the immense confidence reposed in my capacity.
“Becoming the State Coordinating Ward Youth Leader is not a mere title to be flaunted; it is a heavy responsibility and a sacred opportunity to contribute my quota toward the structural development and empowerment of Enugu State youths. I give my solemn word that this trust will never be taken for granted,” he stated.
Ochenwari also extended appreciation to the executive leadership of the state, particularly Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for fostering an environment that encourages active youth participation and leadership.
“Special appreciation must also go to His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for fostering an environment that enables the Enugu State Youth Wing to be led by a man like Hon. Ojengwa, a leader who is deeply grassroots-oriented, on ground, understands the youths intimately, and is widely loved by them,” he added.
With the City Boy Movement structure aligning with the new statewide mandate, the APC youth wing in Enugu State is expected to witness increased coordination and grassroots engagement ahead of future political activities.
