In a goodwill message issued on Sunday through his Special Adviser on General Media and Publicity, Hon. Tochukwu Chukwu, Okolo commended fathers for their sacrifices, leadership, and dedication to raising responsible children and maintaining peaceful homes.

He noted that fathers remain “silent architects” of family stability, whose resilience, discipline, and sense of responsibility continue to shape future generations and strengthen the moral fabric of society.

“Fathers are the guardians of our homes and the builders of our future. Their sacrifices often go unnoticed, yet their influence remains invaluable in nurturing responsible families and prosperous communities,” he said.

The Council Chairman urged fathers to remain committed to their responsibilities by promoting unity, discipline, integrity, and love within their households, stressing that strong families are essential to sustainable national development.

Reaffirming his administration’s commitment to people-oriented governance, Okolo assured residents that the local government would continue to implement programmes aimed at improving family welfare, strengthening community institutions, and driving grassroots development.

He also praised the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Mbah, for what he described as visionary and transformative leadership, noting that the Governor’s investments in infrastructure, education, security, healthcare, and hospitality have repositioned the state as an emerging investment hub.

According to him, Governor Mbah’s developmental strides have continued to inspire local government administrations to deliver impactful projects and improve service delivery at the grassroots.

Okolo prayed for God’s continued protection, wisdom, and long life for fathers, while expressing confidence in their continued role in nurturing families and contributing to societal growth.

He concluded that the sacrifices and enduring contributions of fathers remain invaluable to building a stable and prosperous society for future generations.
