
The Enugu State Government, through the Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA), has announced the commencement of applications for its 2026 empowerment programme aimed at supporting skilled residents and vulnerable persons across the state.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!The initiative will benefit 520 beneficiaries, with two beneficiaries selected from each of the state’s 260 political wards, as part of the government’s commitment to promoting economic self-reliance, entrepreneurship, and poverty reduction.
According to a public service announcement issued by the General Manager/Chief Executive Officer of the CSDA, Hon. Monday Diamond Ani, successful applicants will receive empowerment support in the form of sewing machines, hairdressing equipment, grinding machines, vulcanizing machines, as well as business grants.
Applications will be accepted both online and offline. Interested applicants are required to submit an application letter via enugustatecsda@yahoo.com or deliver it to the CSDA Office, CSDA/NTA Building, Independence Layout, Enugu.
The application window opens on June 29, 2026, and closes on July 10, 2026.
Applicants are expected to provide their name, age, gender, village, community, ward, local government area, state, phone number, National Identification Number (NIN), and bank account details. They must also present evidence of an acquired vocational skill.
To qualify, applicants must be residents of Enugu State, between 18 and 60 years of age, and possess relevant vocational skills. The agency emphasized that no eligible applicant is restricted from applying.
