The APC Chairmanship Candidate for Nkanu East Local Government Area, Hon. Engr. Mike Ogbuekwe, has joined the Chairman of Nkanu East Local Government, Hon. Sydney Edeh, and other community leaders and members of the Nkanu East community to pay a condolence visit to Captain Evarest Nnaji (Odengene) and his family following the death of his elder brother, Late Chief Augustine Nnaji, who passed away at the age of 66.

The delegation visited the Odengene family at their hometown in Amagunze to express sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved family at a difficult moment.
Ogbuekwe, while commiserating with Captain Evarest and members of the family, described the visit as an expression of love and communal support, stressing the importance of standing with one another during moments of grief.
The occasion also provided an opportunity for Ogbuekwe to exchange pleasantries with members of the Nkanu East delegation, including women who accompanied the group. The gathering reflected the strong bonds of fellowship within the community and the shared responsibility of identifying with one another in times of joy and sorrow.
The condolence visit was marked by empathy, respect and genuine fellowship as the delegation shared in the family’s grief and offered words of comfort and encouragement.
Ogbuekwe prayed for God to grant Captain Everest, the entire Odengene family and their loved ones the strength and fortitude to bear the painful loss, while also praying for the peaceful repose of the departed.
