The Enugu State Government, through the Ministry of Education, the Center for Experiential Learning and Innovation (CELI), and the Enugu State Universal Basic Education Board (ENSUBEB), proudly welcomes 2,299 newly recruited ENSUBEB teachers to a three-day induction and orientation programme for the Enugu Smart Green Schools (ESGS).

Throughout the programme, the new educators will be immersed in the vision, values, culture, professional standards, and innovative learning practices that define the Enugu Smart Green Schools.

📅 PROGRAMME SCHEDULE

DAY 1: INDUCTION — ALL TEACHERS

📅 Wednesday, 16 September 2026
📍 International Conference Centre (ICC)
⏰ 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

DAY 2: IMMERSION — GROUPS I AND II

📅 Thursday, 17 September 2026
📍 Enugu Smart Green School, GTC 1 Campus
⏰ 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

DAY 3: IMMERSION — GROUPS III AND IV

📅 Friday, 18 September 2026
📍 Enugu Smart Green School, GTC 1 Campus
⏰ 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

The orientation marks an important step in integrating the newly recruited teachers into Enugu State’s education transformation agenda and equipping them to deliver smart, experiential, technology-enabled, and learner-centred education across the state.

As Enugu continues to build a world-class education system, these 2,299 teachers are not merely joining the workforce; they are beginning a transformative journey that will shape the learners, classrooms, and communities of tomorrow.

ALL PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUIRED TO:

1. Check the attached group roster and confirm their assigned group.
2. Attend the Day 1 induction and the immersion session assigned to their group.
3. Arrive promptly and participate actively throughout every session.
4. Come prepared to learn, collaborate, reflect, and innovate.
