According to Onyima, the meeting focused on facilitating the establishment of an Enugu State–UAE Investment Corridor, aimed at creating strategic business and investment partnerships between Enugu and key commercial centres in the UAE, including Dubai and Abu Dhabi, as well as other Emirates.

The initiative, he said, is expected to provide a platform for deeper engagement with UAE-based investors and businesses while opening new opportunities for investment, trade and economic partnerships in Enugu State.

Onyima described Enugu as an emerging investment destination in Africa, expressing optimism that the proposed investment corridor would further position the state to attract strategic international investments.

Further details of the engagement and the proposed investment partnership are expected to be made available subsequently.
