The Executive Chairman of Udenu Local Government Area, Aka Eze Aka, and his wife Sylvia, have dedicated their first child, Okikeabia Jesoeme AkaEzeAka, at the Mater Dei Catholic Church in Trans-Ekulu, Enugu.

The church was filled with a multitude of guests, including VIPs, who gathered to celebrate this milestone in the AkaEzeAka family’s life. Three priests, including Rev. Fr. Casmir Uramah, the brother-in-law of the Chairman, concelebrated the Holy Mass.
In his homily, Rev. Fr. Hyginus Ezebuilo CSSP, urged the congregation to draw inspiration from the AkaEzeAka family’s 21-year journey of patience and faith. “Their devotion to God is a profound souvenir to the power of faith and perseverance,” he said. Fr. Ezebuilo emphasized the importance of maintaining faith in the face of adversity, affirming that miraculous blessings often follow enduring trials.
The dedication ceremony was followed by a reception at the Ingrace Event Center on Rangers Avenue, Enugu. The event was attended by prominent figures, including Prof. Chidiebere Onyia, Secretary to the State Government of Enugu; Executive Chairmen from neighboring Local Government Areas, including Enugu East, Udi, Igbo Eze North, Ezeagu, and Oji River; and Hon. Solomon Izuchukwu Onah, representing Udenu at the Enugu State House of Assembly.
Other notable attendees included the Vice Chairman of Udenu LGA, Hon. Mrs. Onyinye Odoh; Udenu PDP Chairman, Hon. Meletus Onah; Hon. Onyekachi C Ugwu; Dr. Okwudili Jude; Mr. Chekwube Eneje; and Kelechi Kelycool Obetta, Deputy DG of AkaEzeAka Media Team. Former Udenu Chairman, Dr. Godwin Abonyi, and several Honorable councilors led by Hon. Dr. Nnamdi Odoh from Udenu also graced the occasion.
Additionally, Dr. Ifeanyi Ohabuenyi, MD/CEO of Bridget Memorial Hospital Obollo Afor; legal luminary Barr. Ikechukwu Eze; Engr. Christian Ibeh Ugwu; Hon. Norbert Chizoba Abah, PDP Chairman Obollo Etiti Ward; Hon. Ikechukwu Odoh, Administrator Udenu East Development Center; and Hon. Omalicha Udenu, Administrator Udunedem Development Center, were in attendance.

As they embark on this new journey of parenthood, they invite the community to continue sharing in their journey as they nurture and guide Okikeabia Jesoeme toward a promising future.
