Enugu East LG Council Concludes ICT Training, Receives Abakpa League Organizers

The Enugu East Local Government Council has successfully concluded its first batch of staff ICT training, fulfilling Executive Chairman Engr. Pst. Beloved-Dan Obi Anike’s promise to prioritize workers’ welfare and development. Upon assuming office, Chairman Anike engaged local government workers to prepare them for administrative work and align with the state’s “business unusual” approach.

He promised to promote workers’ welfare and conduct training sessions. Interested staff were profiled and underwent a month-long ICT training. This training aimed to enhance staff capabilities, aligning them with ongoing state initiatives.

The participants, grateful for the opportunity, paid a thank-you visit to Chairman Anike. He commended their commitment to self-development and announced plans for a second batch of training to benefit more staff members.

In a separate development, the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the Abakpa League, sponsored by Tribu Hotel, paid a courtesy visit to Chairman Anike. Led by Hon. Okechukwu Igbokwe, they briefed Anike on this year’s league edition. Anike praised Tribu Hotel’s sponsorship and outlined his administration’s sports development plans for Abakpa and surrounding areas.
