BUSINESS MOGUL HAILS MBAH’S PROPOSED N971 BILLION 2025 BUDGET

In a bold endorsement, Chief Stephen Iyida Ejiofor, a renowned business mogul and Managing Director of EsomGod table water and Gburugburu Hospital and Maternity, has commended Governor Peter Mbah for his proposed N971 billion 2025 budget. The budget, tagged “Budget of Exponential Growth and Inclusive Prosperity,” allocates N837.9 billion to capital expenditure, which Chief Ejiofor describes as a bold move towards realizing a brighter future for the people of Enugu State.

In a statement made available to newsmen in Enugu, Chief Ejiofor praised Governor Mbah’s visionary leadership and dedication to sustainable development, highlighting the budget’s focus on critical areas such as infrastructure, healthcare, education, job creation, and economic growth. He noted that the ambitious budget underscores Governor Mbah’s unwavering commitment to addressing the needs and aspirations of the citizens of Enugu State.

Chief Ejiofor also commended Governor Mbah for the numerous ongoing projects in various sectors, including the construction of 260 Smart Green Schools in the 260 wards in the state, construction of type 2 health centers, dualization of Ugwuogo-Nike-Opi-Nsukka Road, Rehabilitation of the Enugu International Conference Centre, as well as the construction of a 300-bed capacity international hospital and presidential hotel, among others.

The business mogul noted that Governor Mbah’s administration has already begun to yield tangible results, positively impacting the lives of many. He encouraged all stakeholders to support the Governor’s initiatives, emphasizing that together, they can build an Enugu State that stands as a beacon of excellence and a testament to effective leadership.

“In addition to the 2025 budget, we commend Governor Mbah for the numerous development projects he has embarked on since assuming office. His administration’s focus on revitalizing key sectors, fostering innovation, and ensuring inclusive governance has already begun to yield tangible results, positively impacting the lives of many,” Chief Ejiofor said.

“Notable initiatives such as improved road networks, investments in technology-driven education, healthcare advancements, and initiatives to attract private sector investments are setting a new standard for governance in Enugu State. These efforts are paving the way for sustainable growth and positioning the state as a model of progress and development,” he added.
