
In a move aimed at enhancing the socio-economic development of several communities, the Chairman of Awgu Local Government Area, Hon. Uchenna Joseph Okolo, has extended the council’s road grading project to Nenwenta, Nkwe, and Ezere communities.

The project, which commenced on January 16, is part of the council’s ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure and develop the area. According to eyewitnesses, the road grading project has been ongoing across various towns in Awgu Local Government Area, and its extension to the three communities is a significant development.


Mazi Damian Chukwu, President General of Nenwenta community, commended Hon. Okolo for bringing the project to their community. “We are grateful to the chairman for extending this project to our community. It will greatly improve our lives, enhance socio-economic development, and open up our community to more economic opportunities,” Chukwu said.
Similarly, the leaders of Nkwe and Ezere communities expressed their gratitude to Hon. Okolo for extending the road grading project to their areas. They noted that the project will enhance access to basic amenities, boost economic activities, and improve the overall living standards of residents.


The extension of the road grading project to Nenwenta, Nkwe, and Ezere communities is expected to have a positive impact on the areas, enhancing socio-economic development and improving the lives of residents. Under Hon. Okolo’s leadership, the Awgu Local Government Area administration has been committed to developing the area and improving the lives of residents. The road grading project is one of the several initiatives embarked upon by the administration to achieve this goal.

With the extension of the road grading project to the three communities, residents are optimistic that their areas will experience significant transformation and growth.
