Hon. Sydney Okechukwu Edeh and Hon. Okechukwu Mbah Launch Joint Initiative to Eradicate Illiteracy in Nkanu East: ‘Operation Wipe Out Illiteracy’ Gains Momentum

In a bold move to eradicate illiteracy and promote education, the Executive Chairman of Nkanu East Local Government Area, Hon. Sydney Okechukwu Edeh, and the House of Assembly member representing Nkanu East Constituency, Hon. Okechukwu Mbah, have launched a joint initiative dubbed “Operation Wipe Out Illiteracy in Nkanu East.”

The program, aimed at empowering the youth and driving positive change in the community, has already begun to yield fruits. Recently, Hon. Mbah approved 200 free JAMB forms for students in Ndi Nkanu East Constituency, while Hon. Edeh complemented this gesture with an additional 500 free JAMB forms.

This collaborative effort is a testament to the commitment of both leaders to education and development. By providing access to education, they are creating opportunities for the youth to excel and contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of Nkanu East.

According to Hon. Edeh, “Education is the key to unlocking the potential of our youth. We are committed to ensuring that every child in Nkanu East has access to quality education, and we will stop at nothing to achieve this goal.”

Hon. Mbah echoed this sentiment, stating, “As leaders, it is our responsibility to empower our youth and provide them with the tools they need to succeed. We will continue to work together to drive positive change in Nkanu East and ensure that our community remains a beacon of hope and opportunity.”
