Hon. Sydney Okechukwu Edeh, the Chairman of ALGON Enugu Chapter, expressed his delight at the acquisition of the coaster bus. “This brand-new coaster bus is a game-changer for local government administration in Enugu State,” Hon. Edeh declared. “It will enhance our mobility and communication, enabling us to respond more effectively to the needs of our respective communities.”

The acquisition of the coaster bus is in line with Governor Peter Mbah’s policy of cutting down the cost of governance and improving the functionality of the Association in Enugu. It is also expected to reduce transportation costs and minimize the long vehicle convoys that usually accompany official trips.

The ALGON Enugu Chapter comprises local government chairmen from the 17 local government areas of Enugu State. The chapter has been at the forefront of efforts to promote good governance, development, and service delivery at the grassroots level.

With the coaster bus, local government chairmen in Enugu State will be able to attend to their statutory duties without worrying about transportation logistics. This is expected to have a positive impact on the lives of the people of Enugu State, as local government chairmen become more effective and responsive to their needs.
