The tour, which focused on Oghe and Imezi-Owa communities, aimed to identify and address pressing challenges hindering educational progress. Hon. Obieze’s interventions have brought significant relief to students, teachers, and school administrators.

At Sedes Sapientiae Girls Secondary School Oghe, Hon. Obieze covered WAEC fees for all SS3 students, provided stipends for teachers and corps members, and donated ₦1.521 million to upgrade the school’s science laboratory. Similar interventions were made at Maria Assumpta Secondary School Akama-Oghe.

In a major breakthrough, Hon. Obieze cleared a ₦330,000 contravention levy at Community Secondary School Ezema Imezi-Owa, enabling the school to access WAEC results after a three-year wait.

The tour also highlighted pressing infrastructure needs, including the burnt students’ hostel at Special Science School Oghe and the dilapidated science laboratory at Community Secondary School Ogwofia Imezi-Owa. Hon. Obieze has pledged to escalate these matters to the State Government and collaborate with the Local Government to address them.

Community leaders, including Chief Felix Ejim, have commended Hon. Obieze’s dedication to education, praising his efforts to revitalize the educational system in Ezeagu Constituency.
