…Dissociates Self from Fraudulent Release
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Ibrahim Abdullahi, the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has issued a statement denying the issuance of a disclaimer that has been circulating online. According to Abdullahi, the release is “fraudulent” and contains “typographies and technical inadequacies”. Abdullahi claims that his attention was drawn to the release, which purportedly emanated from him. He expresses disappointment that the authors of the release did not contact him to confirm his stance on the matter.
Abdullahi maintains that he has been maintaining a “studied silence” on the recent Supreme Court judgment, which favored Senator Samuel Anyanwu, in deference to the court. He emphasizes the need to maintain a peaceful political atmosphere, devoid of contradictions, rancor, violence, and outrage. The Deputy National Publicity Secretary notes that even with Senator Anyanwu’s triumph, he would still require the solidarity of the entire PDP family to succeed as National Secretary.
Abdullahi reiterates that he neither received nor was directed by the Acting National Chairman to issue the disputed disclaimer. In conclusion, Abdullahi outrightly dissociates himself and the office of the Deputy National Publicity Secretary from the release, stating that it did not originate from him and was not sanctioned by him.
