Enugu State Housing Boss Congratulates Gov. Mbah on 2nd Anniversary, Commends Landmark Achievements

The Managing Director of the Enugu State Housing Development Corporation (ESHDC), Dr. Gerald Asogwa, has congratulated Governor Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah on his second anniversary in office, praising his administration’s landmark achievements in various sectors of the state’s economy.

In a goodwill message signed by Dr. Asogwa, the Housing boss appreciated the Governor’s commitment to transparency, people engagement, accountability, and infrastructural renewal, which has brought joy and satisfaction to the people of Enugu State.

According to Dr. Asogwa, “When you came on board, you adopted the 260 wards of the state in the siting of projects in line with the inclusive governance model. In every ward, you are doing one Smart Green School, one Type 2 Primary Healthcare Center, and one Farm Estate in addition to road and other development projects.”

The Housing boss highlighted some of the notable projects implemented by the administration, including the construction of Smart Green Schools, Primary Healthcare Centers, and Farm Estates in every ward. He also commended the Governor’s efforts in developing various estates, such as:

– Blossom Garden Estate Trans-Ekulu Annex: With over 70km dual carriage access road
– Coal City Eastern Extension Alliance Estate: 46.2km, including access and internal roads with walkways and bicycle lanes
– River View Estate Amechi: A modern housing estate with quality infrastructure
– Rock City Estate GRA: A premium housing estate with modern amenities
– Gateway Estate Owo: A strategic housing project promoting economic development

Dr. Asogwa expressed his appreciation for the Governor’s leadership and vision for the state, saying, “We will continue to pray for you and your administration for more stability, peace, and progress in Enugu State.”
