In a bid to deepen grassroots engagement and promote inclusive governance, the Special Adviser to the Governor of Enugu State on Youth Mobilization and Empowerment, Hon. Jude Amunabor, has officially launched the Igbo-Eze South chapter of the Tomorrow is Here Movement. The inauguration, which took place on Saturday, June 14, 2025, during the PDP Monthly Local Government Area (LGA) meeting, marked a significant step in sustaining the vision and transformative agenda of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s administration.

The event brought together party faithful, youth leaders, and community stakeholders across the local government. Addressing attendees, Hon. Amunabor reaffirmed the government’s commitment to youth inclusion in governance, policy implementation, and development. He described the Tomorrow is Here Movement as a dynamic platform for strategic mobilization and lasting impact.

“We are here today because we believe that governance must be felt in every ward, every polling unit, and every youth constituency. The Tomorrow is Here Movement is not a campaign afterthought; it is the soul of our people’s mandate and the light that must continue to shine through development, participation, and shared vision,” Hon. Amunabor declared.

He praised the leadership and commitment of the people of Igbo-Eze South and urged young people across Enugu State to take ownership of the movement, emphasizing that it offers a unique opportunity for active civic participation and leadership development.

In a demonstration of strong support for the initiative, the Executive Chairman of Igbo-Eze South LGA, Hon. (Barr.) Ugo Ferdinand Ukwueze, donated a brand-new Toyota Hiace bus to facilitate the movement’s operations. The donation, presented during the event, was met with applause and appreciation from the audience.

“The Tomorrow is Here Movement represents the heartbeat of this administration’s vision. It is only proper that we equip it with the necessary tools to move across the state, to spread the message of hope, progress, and inclusion,” Barr. Ukwueze said. He called on the coordinators and members of the movement to use the vehicle responsibly and effectively as they engage with communities across the constituency.

The occasion featured cultural performances, solidarity chants, and enthusiastic pledges of support from political leaders, youth influencers, and party stakeholders. It underscored a renewed sense of purpose in the push to deliver Governor Mbah’s development agenda at the grassroots.

In his closing remarks, Hon. Amunabor thanked Hon. Ukwueze for his generosity and commitment, describing the donation as a powerful statement of partnership in governance. He assured constituents that the Tomorrow is Here Movement would remain a driving force for community engagement, innovation, and accelerated development in Enugu State.
