The event brought together coordinators from all levels of the network, government officials, and stakeholders, highlighting the growing influence of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s administration.

Dr. Cajetan Ali, Chairman of the GNPM Board of Trustees, described the launch as a strategic move designed to build a functional system from the state level down to senatorial zones, local governments, wards, campuses, and polling units. “This is not just about visibility; it is about penetration and understanding. We are building a system that ensures governance is not only seen but clearly understood at the grassroots,” Ali said.

The ceremony featured zonal coordinators from all three senatorial districts, all 17 local government coordinators, and ward, campus, and neighbourhood representatives, demonstrating the network’s operational reach. Presentations highlighted measurable progress under the Mbah administration in security, healthcare, education, infrastructure, and economic development, reinforcing the state’s commitment to visible results.

Representing the Governor, Special Adviser on Political Matters, Mr. Frank Anioma, praised the network as a bridge between government policies and public understanding. He cited key projects, including the Enugu Air economic initiative, revitalisation of dormant industries, and the Smart Green Schools project, calling them strategic investments in human capital.

Senior Special Assistant on Security, Mr. Vincent Onyeabor, highlighted the state’s proactive, technology-driven security system, noting the Enugu State Command and Control Center and the Swift Response App as tools for rapid response and citizen participation.

The event also drew support from Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, Hon. Franklin Ogbonna, and Enugu State Liaison Officer to the South East Development Commission, Hon. Edeani M. Edeani, reflecting strong institutional backing. Organisers outlined plans for community initiatives, including health outreaches, educational programmes, empowerment drives, and technology projects tailored to local needs.

The launch underscored GNPM’s commitment to building a sustainable grassroots framework that goes beyond political mobilisation. With 2027 approaching, the network sends a clear message: governance must be actively communicated, performance must be visible, and grassroots connection remains central to Enugu’s development story.
