In a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Daniel Ndukwe, the CP also conveyed recent directives from the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, warning officers to desist from meddling in land disputes and other civil matters. The directives further condemned the duplication of investigations across multiple Commands, formations, and offices, describing such actions as wasteful, unprofessional, and damaging to the image of the Nigeria Police Force. He also warned against unlawful and prolonged detention, emphasizing strict adherence to due process and respect for human rights.

CP Giwa charged officers to remain disciplined, hardworking, and committed to sustaining proactive and results-driven policing strategies across the state. He stressed that professionalism and accountability remain key to building public trust and achieving lasting security.

The conference was attended by senior officers, including Deputy and Assistant Commissioners of Police, Area Commanders, Commanding Officers of Police Mobile Force (PMF) Squadrons, as well as Heads of Tactical, Operational, Investigative, and Administrative Units.
