Edeh noted that Mrs. Mbah’s commitment to inclusive development and human empowerment continues to inspire many, especially young women aspiring to take up leadership roles in governance and public service.

The council chairman further appreciated the First Lady’s mentorship of emerging female leaders, stressing that her guidance has encouraged greater participation of women in shaping the future of Enugu State and Nigeria at large.

She also lauded Mrs. Mbah’s support for the policies of her husband, Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, particularly in advancing gender equality, expanding access to quality education, and promoting human capital development.

“Mrs. Mbah’s dedication to fostering inclusivity and equality stands as a beacon of hope for generations to come. Her role in promoting women’s participation in governance and decision-making processes is invaluable,” the statement read in part.

Edeh prayed for continued good health, wisdom and strength for the First Lady, urging her to sustain her service to the people of Enugu State.
