
The National Executive Council and members of the Ugwuoba Development Union (UDU) have extended warm congratulations to Hon. Engr. Anayo B. Onwuegbu (Omeiheukwu) following his successful emergence as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Aninri/Awgu/Oji River Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The body stated that Hon. Onwuegbu has, over the years, remained committed to humanitarian service, grassroots empowerment, and community development, qualities which have endeared him to the people across the federal constituency. According to the union, his emergence has ignited renewed hope among the people of Aninri, Awgu, and Oji River for quality representation and purposeful leadership.
The statement further emphasized that his aspiration represents a new chapter of inclusive governance, effective representation, and people-oriented development capable of transforming the constituency and improving the welfare of the people.
“Your victory at the primary election reflects the confidence reposed in your leadership, competence, and unwavering dedication to the growth and development of the constituency. Your track record of commitment to humanity and grassroots empowerment has continued to inspire hope among the people,” the statement read.
The union also expressed optimism that Hon. Onwuegbu’s candidacy would bring fresh ideas, unity, and progress to the constituency if elected in the forthcoming 2027 general elections.
As he continues his political journey, the Ugwuoba Development Union prayed for divine wisdom, guidance, protection, strength, and ultimate success for the APC candidate throughout the electioneering process.
