The Omeiheukwu Youth Alliance (OYA) has congratulated the Governor of Enugu State, Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, on his decisive victory in the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary election conducted across all 260 wards of the state.

In a statement issued by the group through its Director of Media and Publicity, Comr. Okpara A. Obinna, the Alliance described the exercise as peaceful, credible, and well-coordinated, while commending members of the All Progressives Congress for their discipline and commitment to ensuring a smooth and orderly process throughout the primaries.

The group noted that Governor Mbah’s emergence as the party’s flag bearer reflects broad-based confidence in his leadership and a growing consensus around his development-focused vision for Enugu State.

According to the statement, his candidature is expected to further strengthen purposeful governance and accelerate socio-economic development across key sectors, including infrastructure, investment attraction, and public service delivery.

The Alliance further expressed optimism that the forthcoming general election will provide an opportunity to consolidate ongoing reforms in the state, while reaffirming its support for leadership anchored on growth, stability, and sustainable development.

It concluded by wishing the governor success in the next phase of the political process, and urged stakeholders to continue promoting peace, unity, and decorum throughout the electoral period.
