Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s emergence as a consensus governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Enugu State has been widely described by political observers as a resounding endorsement of visionary leadership, infrastructural transformation and people-oriented governance.

Hon Ogalla noted that the APC governorship primary election effectively became a referendum on Governor Mbah’s achievements in office, as party members and stakeholders overwhelmingly aligned with the growing public sentiment in support of his administration’s developmental strides.
According to the council chairman, Governor Mbah’s administration has redefined governance in Enugu State through innovation, speed, transparency and measurable progress across critical sectors of the economy.
He stated that the governor’s spectacular achievements in infrastructure, education, healthcare, security, agriculture, technology, youth empowerment and economic expansion have earned him widespread acceptance beyond political affiliations.
“Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah has justified the confidence reposed in him by Ndi Enugu through purposeful governance and uncommon commitment to development. His administration has become a model of innovation, discipline, and strategic leadership,” Ogalla stated.
He further stressed that under Governor Mbah’s leadership, Enugu State has witnessed unprecedented road construction and urban renewal projects, revitalization of public institutions, improved security architecture and aggressive pursuit of investments capable of transforming the state into a leading economic hub in Nigeria.
The chairman added that the governor’s educational reforms, digital learning through the Smart Schools initiative, Type 2 primary Healthcare revolution and rural development policies have restored public confidence in governance and inspired renewed hope among the people.
Hon Ogalla emphasized that the APC primary election was not just a routine political exercise but a direct assessment of Governor Mbah’s performance and credibility in office.
“The overwhelming support from party faithful demonstrates that excellence in leadership can never be hidden. His emergence as the party’s governorship candidate is a victory for progress, continuity and the collective aspirations of Ndi Enugu,” he said.
The Igbo-Eze North chairman also commended members of the APC in Enugu State for conducting themselves peacefully and democratically throughout the primary process, describing the exercise as a sign of political maturity and shared aspiration for the future of the state.
Applauding the acceptance by party members, of all candidates earlier endorsed by the governor, he urged party members and supporters across the state to remain united and committed ahead of the general elections, insisting that Governor Mbah deserves a second term considering the scale of transformation already witnessed within a short period in office.
Hon Ogalla reteirated his confidence that the governor’s renewed mandate would consolidate ongoing developmental projects and accelerate the vision of making Enugu State one of the fastest-growing economies in Nigeria.
