In a statement shared on his official Facebook page, Ogbuekwe described technical and vocational education as the bedrock upon which many developed nations built their industrial and economic success, stressing that the sector remains indispensable to sustainable development.

He noted that Governor Mbah’s decision to upgrade Government Technical Schools across Enugu State reflects a visionary commitment to human capital development and youth empowerment through practical, industry-driven skills acquisition.

According to the APC chairmanship candidate, the initiative will equip young people with employable skills, foster entrepreneurship, stimulate local industries, create sustainable jobs, and position Nkanu East for rapid economic growth and competitiveness.
