In a goodwill message marking Mbah’s birthday, Ogbuekwe said the occasion offers an opportunity not only to celebrate another year of life, but also to reflect on the values of service, responsibility and impact that define a meaningful public life.

According to him, Mbah’s years of public engagement demonstrate an appreciation of a fundamental principle of governance: that government is ultimately about people, their livelihoods, aspirations and everyday realities.

Ogbuekwe described Mbah’s role within the administration of Governor Peter Mbah as strategic, particularly given the importance of sustained dialogue and constructive engagement between government and the market community.

He noted that effective governance goes beyond policies and programmes, stressing that it also requires people who can build bridges, listen to stakeholders and translate government’s intentions into meaningful engagement with citizens.

“A birthday is not simply an anniversary of birth; it is an annual audit of purpose, service and impact. For Chinedu Mbah, the occasion offers us an opportunity to acknowledge a man whose public responsibilities place him directly in conversation with the people.”

The Nkanu East APC chairmanship candidate further observed that markets remain a vital component of Enugu State’s socio-economic life, adding that effective engagement with market stakeholders requires patience, accessibility, dialogue and a genuine willingness to listen.

He urged Mbah to continue bringing his experience, energy and office to bear in promoting harmonious relations between the government and the market community, while contributing to the broader development agenda of Enugu State.

Ogbuekwe stressed that public service is ultimately measured not by the title attached to an office, but by the confidence earned, problems addressed and positive footprints left in the lives of the people.

“Leadership is not defined merely by the title attached to an office. It is defined by the confidence people place in you, the problems you help resolve and the positive footprints you leave behind.”

He wished Mbah good health, greater wisdom and renewed strength as he continues his journey in public service.

He also prayed that the new year would usher in greater accomplishments, deeper fulfilment and fresh opportunities for the celebrant to contribute meaningfully to society.

“Happy birthday, Hon. Chinedu Mbah. May the years ahead prove even more consequential than those behind you. Accept my warm felicitations.”
