OVER 1,000 YOUTHS TO GRADUATE FROM PPNTAYI ACROSS 4 CENTRES

The passing-out ceremony for the annual computer training programme for secondary school students in Enugu East/Isi-Uzo Federal Constituency of Enugu State has been scheduled to hold across four designated study centres from Thursday, September 17th to Sunday, September 20th, 2026.

The programme is sponsored by the member representing Enugu East/Isi-Uzo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Prof. Paul Sunday Nnamchi.
It is designed to expose students of the two local governments early to Information and Communication Technology, (ICT).

According to the programme of events released by the Coordinator of the training, Engr. Igwe Daniel Nwachukwu and approved by Prof. Nnamchi, the ceremony will kick off on Thursday, September 17th at Queen of Peace Parish, Ndorommiri, by 1:00pm.

It will continue on Friday, September 18th at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Parish, Emene by the same time.
The Queen of the Rosary Parish, Ogwuagor centre comes up on Saturday, September 19th at 1:00pm, while St. Theresa’s Parish, Phase 6, Trans-Ekulu will climax the event on Sunday, September 20th.

Over one thousand students who participated in the training are expected to attend alongside their parents and guardians, Engr. Nwachukwu stated.

He added that the ceremony is packaged to feature recitations by students, cultural displays, and the award of prizes and certificates to participants.

Prof. Nnamchi’s yearly computer training for secondary school students, tagged Professor Paul Nnamchi Tech-Hub and Youth Innovation, (PPNTAYI), first began in Enugu East alone, before his election into the House of Representatives as member representing Enugu East/Isi-Uzo Federal Constituency.

However, following his electoral victory in 2023, the programme was expanded to accommodate students from the two local governments that make up the constituency. It has since grown into a major pathway to ICT for teeming students of both local governments.
