ENUGU STATE BOOSTS EDUCATION SECTOR WITH RENEWED COLLABORATION

The Chairman of the Science, Technical and Vocational Schools Management Board (STVSMB) Enugu, Dr. Amaka Ngene, has commended Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mba’s education policies, stating they have positioned Enugu State for progress and competitiveness. This declaration was made during a familiarization visit from the Enugu State House of Assembly Committee on Education.

Dr. Ngene emphasized the potential of Technical and Vocational Education (TVE) in wealth creation, employment, and industrialization. She encouraged committee members to visit schools and colleges in their constituencies to understand the need for renovations and securing the lives of children. With her wealth of experience and hard work, the Board has embraced Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s agenda to revive government Technical Schools and bring them to the limelight.

During the visit, the Enugu State Chairman House Committee on Education and member representing Oji River Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Osita Eze, praised Dr. Amaka Ngene’s exceptional leadership. He acknowledged her experience and hard work, expressing confidence that she will align the Board with Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s Agenda. Hon. Eze emphasized the importance of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Schools in Enugu State.

Hon. Malachy Onyechi, Committee’s Vice Chairman, confirmed that the House Committee assured maximum support for STVSMB, including budgetary assistance. He encouraged Dr. Ngene to forward ideas to facilitate necessary actions, meeting the Governor’s expectations and bettering the lives of Enugu’s children.

Dr. Amaka Ngene expressed gratitude to the Committee Chairman and members for their familiarization visit. She hailed it as a timely boost to advance Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s groundbreaking education initiatives, dubbed ‘disruptive innovation.’ This collaboration will foster synergy between STVSMB and the Committee, driving progress in Enugu State’s education sector.
