The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) has emerged as the Best Federal Ministry, Department, and Agency (MDA) in Digital Transformation at the 2024 Nigeria GovTech Conference and Awards.

The prestigious award was presented at the conference, held on October 10-11, 2024, at the Nicon Luxury Hotel in Abuja. The event was organized by the Bureau for Public Service Reform, under the theme “Digital Innovations as Catalysts for the Renewed Hope Agenda.”
Engr. Gbega Komolafe, the Commission Chief Executive of NUPRC, also received the distinguished Trailblazer Award, recognizing his outstanding leadership in driving digital innovation in the Oil and Gas sector.
Representing Engr. Komolafe at the event, Mrs. Olaide Shaw, Director of Exploration and Acreage Management, accompanied by Osagie Imansuen, Head of ICT at the Commission, received the award on behalf of NUPRC.
“This recognition is a testament to our commitment to leveraging digital solutions to drive innovation and excellence in the Oil and Gas sector,” Mrs. Shaw said.
