Governor Mbah, represented by Prince Engr. Lawrence Eze, Honorable Commissioner for Innovation, Science, and Technology, emphasized the importance of ensuring food security, boosting agricultural productivity, and supporting a sustainable future. He noted that the state’s agricultural production initiatives will eliminate the need for food imports from neighboring states.

In his remarks, the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Chidiebere Onyia, reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to a sustainable future where agriculture plays a transformative role in the state’s development. Governor Mbah’s vision is to build an agricultural sector that serves as a model for food production and security.
