Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!In a significant milestone for education and innovation, a state-of-the-art science laboratory has been commissioned by the Enugu State governor who was highly represented by the Hon.Commissioner for Innovation, Science and Technology, Engr.Prince Lawrence Ezeh. The laboratory which was made possible through the generous support of one of the leading telecommunications company in Nigeria, MTN.

Delivering his speech, Engr. Ezeh emphasized the importance of investing in science education and providing students with top-notch facilities to foster their knowledge, skills and provide the students with tools they need to thrive in science and technology.
Engr.Ezeh also reiterated the state government’s commitment to upgrade the state’s primary health care centers in Awgu, Igboeze North and Enugu North LGA’s. The upgrading demonstrates a profound commitment to the health and well-being of community members.

He also expressed a heartfelt gratitude to MTN for the installation of solar boreholes in Igbo Eze North and Uzo Uwani LGA’s and also the construction of Enugu-Onitsha highway. This showcases MTN’s dedication to sustainable solutions for communities to have access to clean water and for easy and safe traveling for Ndi Enugu.
Speaking at the ceremony, the MTN director of Communication, Mrs Sonia conveyed the company’s dedication to support educational initiatives that have a lasting impact on students’ academic development and future prospects.

The school Principal Rev. Ifeanyi Eze who was thrilled at unveiling of the new science laboratory, thanked the state government for its commitment towards the educational sector in the state especially for the construction of the Enugu State Smart School.
Rev. Ifeanyi Eze who couldn’t curtail his joy embraced the Telecommunication giant as the best in contributing to the growth of the country. He said that his teachers and students are eager to utilize the cutting-edge facilities to further their scientific exploration and learning.
The occasion was attended by the state governor, His Excellency Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah who was ably represented by Hon.Commissioner Engr.Prince Lawrence Ezeh, the Post Primary School Management Board chairman, Rev.Fr. Mgbodile, the schools old boys association, MTN Director of communications and her team, the schools stakeholders, parents and past principals of Union boys secondary school were entertained by a welcome song, debate competition and traditional dance by the students.
