On Wednesday, October 30, 2024, Hon. Edeh commended Governor Mbah at the flag-off ceremony for multiple road constructions in Nara, Nkanu East Local Government Area. He applauded the governor’s courage and commitment to building an enduring culture of good governance and ethics in the state.
“One thing I find soothing about you is that you say something and keep to it, which is a rare development these days in our political circles,” Hon. Edeh remarked. “Your unprecedented achievements in just one year attest to the fact that indeed you came prepared.”
Hon. Edeh noted that the massive road construction and reconstruction projects across the state demonstrate Governor Mbah’s determination to transform Enugu. “His Excellency, you have, through people-oriented programmes and policies, restored people’s confidence in governance in Enugu State,” he stated.
The chairman emphasized that Governor Mbah’s efforts go beyond road construction, as he is also opening up Nkanu East and Enugu to the world. He expressed gratitude to the governor for remembering forgotten areas and bringing dividends of democracy to the grassroots.
