Senate Minority Whip Hails Governor Mbah Over Flag-off of  Massive Road Constructions in Enugu State

Senator Osita Ngwu, representing Enugu West Senatorial District and Senate Minority Whip, has commended Governor Peter Mbah for flagging off multiple road construction projects across the state. This milestone marks a significant stride in Enugu State’s infrastructure development.

The projects include the construction of three major roads:

– __Ama Eke – Eke – Oghe – Iwollo – Iwollo – Olo – Umulokpa Road__: a 44.8 km road traversing Udi, Ezeagu, and Uzo-Uwani Local Government Areas.

– __Nkanu East and Nkanu West Roads__: 78.85 km multiple roads.

– __Opi Nsukka – Ekwegbe – Ugwogo Enugu Road Dualization__: a 48 km road traversing Metropolis, East – Igboetiti to Nsukka LGAS.

Senator Ngwu praised Governor Mbah’s vision and leadership, stating that the flag-off marks a new dawn for Enugu State. He expressed excitement and pride on behalf of the people, acknowledging the governor’s commitment to good governance. “The flag-off of these roads is a testament to Governor Mbah’s dedication to transforming Enugu State into a model state. These projects will have far-reaching economic and social benefits, uplifting our people and positioning them positively on the national economic map.”

Additionally, Governor Mbah has approved the sum of N80,000 as the minimum wage for Enugu State workers with immediate effect, demonstrating his commitment to improving the lives of the state’s workforce.

Senator Ngwu urged Governor Mbah to continue his life-impacting developmental programs and visionary leadership, assuring him of total support and partnership.
