It has been a rain of praises and prayers for Rep Paul Sunday Nnamchi in Enugu East Local Government Area of Enugu State following his illumination of the communities within the area council with solar-powered street lights.

From Ugwogo Nike, to Amorji Nike, Abakpa and several parts of Enugu East Urban State Constituency, it was all jubilations as residents poured encomiums on Professor Nnamchi for massive deployments of solar-street lights in their places of abodes.

In a vox pop conducted by Signature Television crew, the residents poured out their hearts in appreciation to the Labour Party parliamentarian for bringing several projects to their communities.
The House of Assembly member for Enugu East urban resident, Hyginus Osita Oko described Professor Nnamchi as man who has come to librate his people. “He is a righteous man and when the righteous are on throne, the people rejoice. As he has brought light, his path will be full of light”.
The traditional ruler of Amorji Nike, His Royal Highness, Igwe Dr Titus Okoro, the Ezeora 1 of Amorji Nike commended Professor Nnamchi for addressing the pressing needs of the community.
He canvassed for more supports for the lawmaker highlighting the importance of unity and collaboration In advancing developmental initiatives. He prayed for God’s blessings upon Professor Nnamchi for what he has been doing to better the lives of his constituents.
Also speaking in same voice, madam Tochi Okoli observed that for the past years the community, (Amorji Nike) has been in darkness. “But today Hon. Paul Nnamchi has brought us light and everybody is happy “.
She emphasized that the provision of the street lights has eliminated the fears they used to entertain when they went for early morning mass because of darkness.
Mrs Alice Chisom Nzekwe and Marriet Ugwu in Abakpa were of the opinion that Rep Nnamchi had exceeded what he promised to do when he was seeking for their mandate to represent them in Abuja.
They prayed for God’s protection and guidance upon his life so that he would continue the good work and bring more dividends of democracy to the people of Enugu East/Isi Uzo Federal Constituency of Enugu State.
Other interviewees who spoke on camera were Hon. Raymond Okechukwu Ugwu, Mrs Emmanuel Victoria and Mr Gabriel Akubeze and they also prayed for God’s protection upon the life of the Labour Party Federal lawmaker.
