
In a remarkable display of solidarity and appreciation, Nigerians living in the Netherlands have come together to applaud Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State for his visionary leadership and commitment to transforming Enugu State into an industrialized economy. The Nigerian National Association-The Netherlands (NNA-NL) has expressed its heartfelt gratitude to Governor Mbah for his tireless efforts to drive economic growth and development in Enugu State.

Under the leadership of its President, Dr. Evelyn Azih, the NNA-NL has been actively engaged in promoting the welfare and interests of Nigerians living in the Netherlands. The association has been working closely with various Nigerian associations, unions, and organizations in the Netherlands to foster a sense of community and cooperation. In this context, the NNA-NL has been impressed by Governor Mbah’s vision for Enugu State and his determination to make it a hub for industrialization and economic growth.

The Association of Enugu State Indigenes residing in The Netherlands (Stichting Maru Nwanne) is one of the strongest members of the NNA-NL, and has been working tirelessly to promote the development of Enugu State. The association’s flagship project, the Maru Nwanne Civic Centre Enugu, is a testament to its commitment to giving back to the community. The NNA-NL has pledged its support for this project, which is expected to have a significant impact on the lives of people in Enugu State.

The Nigerian community in the Netherlands was motivated by the attendance of two prominent Enugu state leaders at the 30th Year Anniversary/Launching of the Maru Nwanne Civic Centre Enugu. The National Publicity Secretary, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Rt. Hon. Chiedozie Alex Ogbonnia, Ph.D, and His Royal Majesty, Igwe Sir Samuel Ikechukwu Asadu, OGADAGIDI of Edem Ani Ogwugwu Ancient Kingdom, Nsukka L.G.A, graced the occasion with their presence. Their attendance was a clear indication of their support for Governor Mbah’s vision for Enugu State.

Governor Mbah’s leadership has been recognized for its impact on Enugu State’s development. He has been praised for his efforts to promote the welfare of Enugu State indigenes living in the Netherlands. His administration has also been commended for its achievements in the justice sector, with the facilitation and presentation of over 18 groundbreaking bills to the House. Additionally, Governor Mbah has called for unity and inclusive national economic development for the common good of Nigeria.

In a statement, Dr. Evelyn Azih, President of the NNA-NL, thanked Governor Mbah for his unwavering support for the Maru Nwanne Civic Centre Enugu project. She praised his commitment to transforming Enugu State into an industrialized economy and expressed her appreciation for his efforts to promote the welfare of Enugu State indigenes living in the Netherlands. The statement read in part: “Thank you once again for your unequivocal support towards the development of Marunwanne Civic Centre Enugu. May God Almighty continue to protect your good office.”

The NNA-NL has pledged to continue supporting Governor Mbah’s efforts to develop Enugu State. The association has also called on other Nigerians living in the Netherlands to join hands in supporting the governor’s vision for Enugu State. With the support of the NNA-NL and other stakeholders, Governor Mbah is poised to transform Enugu State into a hub for industrialization and economic growth, thereby improving the lives of the people of Enugu State.
